It may seem like a simple thing, but washing your face is an important first step to treating your skin. The type of cleanser you choose and what you wash your face with can help make all your skincare products work better for you.
The first thing to consider is your skin type and condition. Your skin type may be oily, normal, combination, or dry. You may be dealing with certain conditions such as acne or rosacea. Most skin types should use warm not hot water to wash with, although rosacea will benefit from cool water. What you wash your face with is also important.
