 Skin care experts report that it is estimated that more than 16 million Americans have rosacea, and most of them don’t even know it!
Rosacea is a chronic facial skin condition that is often confused with acne lesions. People with rosacea have inflammation of the nose, cheeks, eyelids, forehead and chin. Rosacea may appear as skin eruptions that are similar to acne or as prominent spider-like blood vessels. It is not uncommon to see redness and swelling on the face, a stinging sensation on the face, or blood-shot eyes during a rosacea outbreak.
